Who We Are

Kingman Middle School serves grades 6-8 in the Kingman Unified School District.

What We Do

The staff at Kingman Middle School is dedicated to the goal of achieving excellence in education. The major purpose for our existence is to devote all of our energies to the education of the youth in our community. We seek to prepare them to be contributing citizens. A respectful, controlled school environment is necessary. All students and teachers observe and enforce school rules and promote excellence in all areas. Our climate promotes school pride, a sense of family, and success.

Our History

Originally called Kingman Junior High School, Kingman Middle School opened in 1948. The school was originally constructed on Grand View Avenue near the high school.

Records don’t specify when the school moved to its current location on Detroit Avenue. However, it's current location has been in use for many decades, proudly housing the education of thousands of students over the years.

It was renamed Kingman Middle School between 2001 and 2007, when it was merged into the Kingman Unified School District.
