KMS Principal Welcome Back Letter 2020

Dear KMS Students and Families

On behalf of the staff at Kingman Middle School, I would like to welcome everyone back to the 2020-21 school year!  The past year has been difficult for everyone and it continues to be challenging as we start the new school year.  I hope that everyone is safe and well during these uncertain times.

I would encourage everyone to be patient as we work our way through the challenges that exist as we start this new year.  As I look back at where this district was last March to where we are today we’ve truly come a long way!  And that’s not to say there hasn’t been confusion, anxiety, and stress in trying to figure out google classrooms, electronic devices, hotspots, transportation, the emotional/social welfare of our kids, sanitation, PPE, and several other logistical concerns of having kids on campus and trying to keep everyone safe.  But, we are getting things worked out as both teachers and staff are working hard, so again be patient and let us know what we can do to help you and all of our students and families.

James Jones

Principal, Kingman Middle School
